“Never put off until tomorrow what you can put off until the day after tomorrow”
This has been my favorite quote for at least 5 years. It is just so against what most people would expect. Especially from a famous author like Mark Twain. There is just one problem though, I find myself living by this code more and more often as I continue through my life. I will procrastinate on everything that I possibly can! If it doesn’t need to be done today, then it ain’t happening.
Unfortunately, this philosophy is taking effect on my college work as well. I have my college orientation in just a few days, I haven’t signed up for classes, and class is only a few months away. And yet, I still don’t have a strong urge to sign up, or do anything. IDK. Maybe I will find the motivation once I start my orientation.
You know, its funny though, my time in that anti-pornography group actually helped me with this habit, and even took it a step further. We figured out a way to use this habit against the adversary. We adopted the phrase “Procrastinate, don’t Masturbate” (this was, of course, my own invention).
Anyway, it’s late. I’m gonna head to bed. Tomorrow I am going to start comparing and contrasting my past romantic relationships with my current one. So stay tuned for that. It should be quite the ride.
